Me! Me! Me! No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour that's perfect for the Bank Holiday!

While rushing through Boots, with the well deserved Bank Holiday in store,  I thought I'd  treat myself to a fabulous nail varnish from the No 7 range (especially with the free £5 No 7 voucher I also received in Boots ).  With up to 20 colours to chose from (and not knowing where to start) I decided that I needed a vibrant colour that represented the end of the Summer, something to brighten up the day (due to the dismal rain showers) and also to take me into the evening.
I finally set my set my sights upon Me! Me!Me! the perfect eye catching candy Pink.

The No 7 Nail colour range is priced at £7, but having my handy voucher brought the cost down to £2-Bargain!
The all new No 7 Stay perfect Nail colour collection comes with a new and improved wider brush and pigment rich colour. One coat of colour was great but I decided to apply two coats for good measure.
Now I'm ready to get the weekend started!

I Want Candy!

Kurt Geiger Exclusive Accessories Store.

I’ve been a lover of the fantastic footwear brand Kurt Geiger for many years, so when I discovered that the fantastic people were launching an accessories collection; I was more than intrigued and took a stroll down to London’s Mayfair to have a sneaky peek.

I was more than amazed when I set my eyes upon the store, (think major bling, mirrored walls and shoe chandelier fused with an array of colour.

Shoe Chandelier

It was literally like being like a kid in a candy store (not knowing what to chose) with the golden star embossed bubble wrapped bags on display for you to fill up with treats .
Ironically this range is named Candy!

Kurt Geiger’s Everything but the dress collection has a price range starting from £8 to £450. The Candy collection has the Luxury factor with items such as handbags, jewellery, friendship bracelets, and card holders all at affordable prices.
So there is a little something for everyone!

My favourite pieces are the Tote bag, matching card holder (which I will be treating myself to on payday) and the stunning suede clutch bag which has also been placed on my ever growing wish list.

Pay Day Treats.

My wish list.

All the accessories are exclusive online and at this store until September.

So head down to the KurtGeiger store located on London's Grafton Street to get your sugar  fix.

Let’s Work It Baby!

Q:-What’s a girl to do on a Thursday evening after a long dull day in the office?
A:-Head to London’s Oxford Circus to the Mango & Stylist Reader Work It event of course!

This exciting showcase is collaboration between the fabulous high street retail fashion store Mango and the fantastic fashion read Stylist Magazine. What a great collaboration if I do say so myself!

The aim of the Work It event is having style and fashion inspired in the everyday working office.
So why wear dreary black and grey suits when you can add a dash of colour to your working outfit!

The queue for the private "Work it" fashion event went more than 2 blocks around the corner of London’s Oxford Street with fellow shoppers rearing to enter the store.
And yes indeed, we were welcomed with a nice glass of bubbly as we entered to see the latest Mango collection.

Mango’s 2011 Spring/Summer collection is infused with an array of colour blocking, floral, sporty and evening wear trends suitable to take you from the office straight to the latest social scene with various accessories on board to take you there.
Not only was there a mid-season sale in store but shoppers also received 25% off purchases on the night.

And what more to add to a great fashion event than a refreshing Spring/Summer cocktail or two courtesy of St Germain.

I also had the opportunity to ask Poppy, Mango UK’s resident Fashion Stylist and fellow fashion blogger, how to incorporate style trends such as colour blocking on a shoestring budget?
Poppy informed me that colour blocking is for everyone, as you can take something simple as bright coloured T-Shirt and team it with a contrasting coloured skirt or pair of trousers that you may have hanging in your wardrobe already. “Fashion is all about having confidence", Poppy told Shoestring Couture as she gave style advice to shoppers on the night.
